Here’s a series of reflective questions based on the sermon about Judges 18:
In what areas of my life might I be compromising my faith for personal gain or comfort?
How am I seeking security in my life? Am I fully trusting in God’s provision, or am I relying on my own strength and plans?
Are there any “idols” in my life that are competing with my devotion to God? How can I identify and remove them?
In what ways might I be blending worldly philosophies or practices with my Christian faith? How can I maintain purer worship?
How am I influencing the next generation through my spiritual choices? What legacy of faith am I leaving for my family or those I mentor?
Are there areas in my life where I’ve justified unethical behavior for my own benefit? How can I rectify this?
Who holds me accountable in my spiritual walk? How can I cultivate deeper, more honest relationships within my faith community?
How am I exercising spiritual leadership in my spheres of influence? Are there areas where I need to step up?
In what ways might our church or community be compromising biblical truth to fit cultural norms? How can we address this?
How can I deepen my trust in God’s guidance, especially when His way seems more challenging than the alternatives?
Are there any spiritual “shortcuts” I’ve been tempted to take recently? How can I recommit to following God’s path, even when it’s difficult?
How am I actively maintaining pure worship in my daily life, beyond just Sunday church attendance?
In what areas of my life do I need to reaffirm God’s rightful place as Lord and King?
How can I be more vigilant in recognizing and resisting subtle forms of spiritual compromise in my life?
What steps can I take this week to stand firmer in my faith and resist the temptation to compromise?
