17 Living with Undiided Devotion to Christ 1 Corinthians 7’25-40
In this passage, Paul speaks directly to the heart of our daily lives—our relationships, whether we are single or married, and how we view the responsibilities and challenges that come with them. Yet, Paul’s message goes beyond simply giving advice about marriage and singleness. It touches something much deeper: how we are to live in light of Christ’s return and the passing nature of this world. His concern is not to impose restrictions or to create unnecessary burdens, but to help us live with undivided devotion to the Lord. Paul calls us to focus on what is eternal, urging us to make decisions in our personal lives that reflect our hope in Christ and our dedication to His Kingdom.
