Day 3: Valuing God’s Wisdom Over Worldly Wisdom
Scripture: James 3:17-18 (ESV)
“But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”
Reflection: Worldly wisdom often centers on personal ambition, competition, and self-reliance. It is shaped by cultural norms and human reasoning, which are transient and flawed. In contrast, God’s wisdom, described in James 3:17-18, is pure and leads to righteousness. It produces peace, gentleness, and mercy. As believers, we are called to prioritize this divine wisdom over the fleeting wisdom of the world.

Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your divine wisdom, which is pure and leads to peace and righteousness. As I begin this day, help me to value Your wisdom above all else.
