Naomi’s plan in Ruth 3:1-6 is a testimony to faith in God’s providence and human responsibility. Ruth’s obedience and courage, Naomi’s wisdom, and Boaz’s character are all instrumental in how God brings about His redemptive purposes for Ruth, Naomi, and ultimately for Israel. This passage also points forward to the greater redemption found in Christ, the true Redeemer who offers rest and security to all who trust in Him.
